I'm Ray and I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Since 2019, I’ve been on a journey dedicated to the art of tattooing, with a particular focus on black and gray, illustrative realism. My work often explores historical themes including medieval armor and weapon designs, japanese warrior and hannya designs, and other fantasy kingdom style pieces. These styles allow me to bring a sense of narrative to each piece, whether it’s a sleeve project or a smaller, more intimate tattoo.
Over the years, I’ve poured my passion into my craft, pushing myself to continuously evolve and improve. Along the way, I’ve been honored to make some great friends, who have been both humbling and motivating. These experiences inspire me to keep pushing my creative limits, always aiming to bring my clients’ visions to life in a way that is unique and meaningful. Tattooing is more than a profession for me; it’s my way of connecting with people and creating lasting art.
